DCH Credit Union’s 1st Annual Christmas Drive
With the arrival of the 2009 holiday season, DCH Credit Union wants to bring a smile to the children that are in the hospital and sick during the holiday season. We are asking that the public donate new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-18, or donate any loose change which the credit union will use to purchase toys with. The Credit Union, along with Santa Clause, will deliver the toys to the children on the pediatric floor at DCH Regional Medical Center on Tuesday Dec. 22 so please try to donate gifts or cash by Monday Dec. 21. Any extra toys will be donated to the local shelters and rescue centers in our community. A single gift will give a child a smile that will light up the season. Please take a step and be a part of the 1st Annual Christmas Drive with DCH Credit Union. Let’s make a difference in our community!!
We have been alerted to an e-mail some have received that reports their on-line account has expired and needs to be updated. A link is provided and the instructions are to use the link to update the account. If you click on that link it takes you to a web-site that looks exactly like our web-site. There you will be told to enter your account infoirmation. That information is what these thieves are after. Their intent is to steal from you. This is a scam known as phishing. We have reported it to the FBI and hopefully it will be shut down before any serious loss occurs. If you get this e-mail pease delete it immediately. DO NOT respond to it. It is not necessary to forward it to us, we've already gotten it and forwarded it to the appropriate authoriuties.
